The light has dawned. God has not left us orphans in a hostile universe,
with death as our ultimate destiny.
He has not only acted to redeem us but has revealed His divine plan.
That Revelation is called the Bible.
It tells us who we are, who He is and how through faith in His Son we
can relate to Him. In short, the Bible is God's own Holy Word which instructs
us how to get to Heaven.
The Bible has good news for anyone who wants to go to HEAVEN.
God loves you and wants you in Heaven with Him for all eternity. Everyone
who wants to can go. If you want to go, God promises to take you there.
But there is one problem--a Big Problem!
That problem is SIN!
Sin is anything we do that God does not like. The : "For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). God, the righteous Judge
of the universe, has looked fairly and honestly at our hearts and passed
sentence--it is impossible for us to go to Heaven! Can you image what Heaven
would be like if all of us sinners went there as we are--lying, stealing,
cursing, drinking, lusting and committing immorality . . . Heaven would
be . . . HELL
Besides, if God let us into Heaven in our sins . . . He would be a crooked
Judge who lets the guilty walk.
So in fairness, He must condemn us. That makes Him very sad. The penalty
for our sin is eternal death, banished from the presence of God forever.
Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death." You see, while God is
a righteous Judge who must punish the guilty, He is also a God of love who
wants us with Him in Heaven. If He lets us go unpunished, He is partial
and unfair. If He condemns us as we deserve, His loving heart is broken
and His yearning love unrequited. What is He to do? How can a righteous
God forgive and save guilty sinners and still be just and fair?
He conceived a plan to do the impossible, a plan which only God could pull
off. He passes His righteous judgment--the death penalty-- then comes into
the world to pay the fine for us! As children we learn . . .
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 God
sent His Son Jesus into the world to pay for our sins on the cross.
Jesus never sinned. Had he sinned and died, it would take eternity just
to pay for His own sin. He could not help us. But having no sin of His own
to pay for, He was able to pay for ours. The wages of sin is death, and
He died . . .
Did He succeed in paying for our sins? You bet. Had he failed, you never
would have heard of Him. There would be a lonely grave somewhere
and Jesus would spend eternity paying for our sins. But that is not what happened.
Paul writes in I Corinthians 15: 3:
". . . Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures...
was buried, and...rose again the third day...and was seen . . ."
They buried Him in a borrowed tomb, secured the tomb with Roman guards,
yet three days and nights later--
Death could not keep his prey,
Jesus my Savior,
He tore the bars away,
Jesus my Lord.
Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes,
He arose a victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah, Christ arose!
After His resurrection, Jesus sent His disciples
into all the world to tell this good news.
The resurrection of Jesus is proof that Jesus has paid
for your sins and forgiven you!
If you ask Him, He will take you to Heaven.
As the disciples gathered outside Galilee and watched Jesus
ascend back into Heaven from where He came, an angel
appeared and said:
"...this same Jesus, which is taken up from you
into heaven, shall so come in like manner
as ye have seen him go into heaven (Acts 1:11).
Yes, soon Jesus is coming back just as He went away. He is coming
back to take us with Him. Ask Him now and you can go along,
"For whosoever shall call upon the name
of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
Heavenly Response I have watched this presentation and believe God has done
everything needed to take away my sins and take me to Heaven. If He is willing
to accept me, I am certainly willing to accept Him and his gracious offer.
Please
send me more information on His divine plan:
